Prince Harry has just confirmed to the press that he has gotten a new dog with his wife Meghan Markle, who explained that “people keep getting her name wrong.”

While appearing at a youth centre in Sussex, Harry said, “My name is Harry, I have two dogs, and my lovely American wife.”

Later on, Harry and Meghan were given a drawing of their beagle Guy. Harry then said, “No one’s even seen our [new] dog.”

“I know, and they keep getting her name wrong,” Meghan added.

The Duchess of Sussex was seemingly referring to a report last month that the couple had adopted a black Labrador named Oz, in addition to Meghan’s dog Guy. The royal couple was given the print of Guy when they visited the Survivors’ Network, a charity that supports victims sexual violence in Brighton.

“While you’re here, we had a local artist who did a print of your dog,” a staffer said.

“The dog is already happily ensconced at their cottage,” a source said of the new pooch. “Like the Sussexes, the dog will divide its time between the palace and their country home in the Cotswold.”

We can’t wait to see what Harry and Meghan’s new dog looks like! That is one lucky pooch to be adopted into the British royal family!
