Michael Bublé is finally back on the road after the 43-year-old singer took a hiatus. He’s set to perform this week in Australia and has been doing lots of interviews in anticipation. What everyone really wants to know about is his son Noah.

The Canadian crooner thanked fans for their support and said many times he wished that it had been him fighting cancer instead of his son. Thankfully though, Noah, now 5, is in remission after doing intense treatments.

Michael admits that there were days that he and his wife didn’t want to wake up after their son was diagnosed at the age of three with a type of liver cancer called hepatoblastoma. The father said getting the news that your child has cancer is the worse possible thing to ever hear.

He says he and his Argentine actress wife, Luisana Lopilato were just struggling to survive, struggling to breath. “I don’t think the public would ever understand how much their love and compassion and support meant to my family,” said Michael.

Michael explained that the outpouring of support from his fans was the silver lining to Noah being sick. He says the days that they didn’t want to wake up were the days they felt the love of people the most.

“We knew they were praying for us,” said Michael. “We knew there was goodness out there. It gave us faith in humanity.” He says his new album, “Love” was inspired by the love his fans showed during Noah’s health crisis.

Michael says that one of the reasons he felt that he could do music again was to show the public how much their love and compassion and support meant to his family. He says in a small way, he wanted to say thank you for that.

Now that Noah has a clean bill of health, Michael says that his son has been brave and they are inspired by his courage. “We thank God for the strength he has given all of us,” said Michael.

In addition to Noah’s good news, the couple shared even more news for the family. The couple has another son, two-year-old Elias, and in July, they welcomed a baby girl named Vida.

Please share this story with your family and friends and let’s keep the prayers going for this family and little Noah.
