A blue Great Dane named Lucas has just become a viral star after he was caught on camera imitating his owner in a hilarious way.

It all started when Chris Clark decided to do some deep lunges at his home in Readfield, Maine. He wasn’t expecting his dog Lucas to join in on the fun with him!

Lucas is 1 and a half years-old, and he loves playing with his family. In the video below, you’ll see Lucas do a lunge for what looks to be the first time ever, but he takes to it immediately! Chris’s wife Jaime managed to capture the hilariously heartwarming moment on camera, and she posted the footage to social media.

“I’m not sure what you’re doing, but I love you and just want to be involved,” she wrote in the caption.

Great Danes may be huge, but they are known for their goofy personalities and their laid back natures.

“Dogs have a keen sense of our moods and actions, unknowingly, we are conditioning our dogs to a certain extent just by following our daily routines. In a strange almost uncanny way, many canines will in some way mimic the behavior of their owners,” the website All About Great Danes states.
