A story about a little girl is going viral this week, and it’s showing the world how important it is to believe in something and never give up.

Leah is a 5 year-old girl who has Severe Congenital Neutropenia, which is a rare genetic disorder that is a deficiency of neutrophils in the bone marrow. Neutrophils are a type of white blood cells that help to cure inflammation.

People who have a lack of neutrophils often have recurrent infections because of the lack of white bloods cells to help stop inflammation.

The caption of Leah’s video states, “She’s an overcomer. Septic shock, two bone marrow transplants, graft vs. host disease and 325 days away from home in the hospital. God is so good to us through it all and Leah is proof of his mercy and grace! I do not own the rights to this song.”

Leah had her first bone marrow transplant in February of 2014 and her second in July of 2016. That’s a lot to go through for anyone, especially a little girl like Leah.

Videos like the one below serve as a reminder to the rest of us to always be grateful for everything we have in life. It’s easy to take what we have for granted in life, but it’s important to always be grateful for everything that we have.

We can only hope and pray that Leah recovers from this horrifying disease. Check out her video below, and please SHARE this story so your friends and family can see this as well!
