Nancy Bleur is like most other teachers. She’s underpaid, but works hard to have a positive impact on her students. So when the 54-year-old kindergarten teacher from Iowa noticed that one of her students wasn’t acting like his typical self, she decided to investigate.

Nancy pulled Camden aside and asked him if anything was wrong. Camden told her that his father, Darreld, was really sick. Nancy called Camden’s dad to find out how bad things really were.

As it turns out, things were pretty bad. Darreld had a serious problem with his kidneys, and had to be on dialysis. The dialysis was taking its toll on his already fragile health, and a transplant was his only hope.

Nancy couldn’t bear seeing little Camden suffering with worry and decided to help the family. But instead of offering the typical kind of help, Nancy offered the family an extraordinary gift. She offered to donate one of her kidneys to Darreld.

Darreld was absolutely stunned in response to Nancy’s offer and couldn’t have been more grateful that the kindergarten teacher was going to save his life. As a small token of their gratitude, Camden surprised his special teacher with flowers at school.

Thanks to Nancy, Camden won’t have to worry about growing up without his dad. Instead, he can look forward to all of the things they will be able to do in the future now that he’s healthy. Be sure to share this heartwarming story with your friends and family. What an inspiration!
