A 4 year-old boy’s touching tribute to his deceased baby sister is going viral and breaking the hearts of millions of people all over the world.

The Deais family was hit with a devastating blow in May of 2017 when their 4 month-old baby girl Ava Lynn passed away due to complications from hydronephrosis, a disease that affects the kidneys and bladder.

“Her body just couldn’t handle anymore,” her father Samir Deais said.

In December of last year, the family posted a video to Twitter showing Ava Lynn’s older brother Alexander strumming his toy guitar while singing the song Remember Me from the Pixar film, “Coco,” as he stands beneath shelf crowded with memorabilia dedicated to his little sister.

Samir explained that his son “just wanted to sing for her and make sure that she is remembered and loved by our family forever.”

“He’s only 4-years-old, and he understands,” Samir wrote alongside the video. “He didn’t even know he was being recorded. He just wanted to sing to her for her 1st birthday!”

The movie “Coco” is about the journey of a young boy as he seeks to find his great-grandfather in the Land of the Dead. Samir said that the movie helped Alexander understand what happened to his sister.

“(Alexander) understands that she has passed and is in heaven, he has seemed to grasp onto the reality of it in a sweet and innocent way a 4-year-old should when it comes to passing away,”  Samir said. “And we have Coco to thank for that.”

Samir has since announced that he and his wife are expecting another little girl, Stella Grace, and Alexander can’t wait to be a big brother again.

“’After every storm comes a rainbow’ My wife and I are proud to announce the newest addition to this family. Stella Grace Deais #RainbowBaby,” Samir tweeted.

God bless this adorable little family!
