Babies and dogs can bring a lot of enjoyment to a home, and that is definitely the case for the Diaz-Giovanini family in Utah.

Andrea, the mother of the family, wanted to hear the word “mama” come out of the mouth of her nine-month-old boy Sam. She never expected to get this instead!

As the mother tries to bribe Sam into saying the word “mama,” the family dog Patch says it instead! She was shocked when the dog clearly howled “mama” a few times.

Patch’s eyes are clearly on the food that Andrea is trying to bribe Sam with, and the dog obviously wants to claim the reward for himself. Things get even funnier when Sam realizes that the dog is trying to steal his thunder.

As an Australian Shepard Dog, Patch is incredibly loyal to his family. He recently played a huge role in helping with the recovery process of the family’s grandmother who had suffered a brain injury due to a car accident. When he senses that the grandma could be having a seizure because of her injuries, Patch always alerts another family member right away.

The hilarious video below has quickly gone viral, with people all over the world praising Patch.
