Have you heard of a lurcher? Neither had I, but apparently it is a dog breed that not very many people know about. The lurcher is a cross between a sighthound and another breed, typically a terrier.

They are most often used as hunting dogs, pest control, or hare coursing. They are also very speedy and used in dog racing. Megan is a lurcher, and not only is she fast, but she has another talent that is making her an internet super star.

In the video below, you’ll see Megan and her buddy Molly, a small Jack Russell. The two are out and about on the farm on a gorgeous sunny day. They’re taking a stroll alongside a field of tall crops. Then they hear a loud whistle and take off.

The short cut is through the tall grass. To begin with, all you can see is Megan’s tail, then Megan does something completely unexpected. With her tail wagging she takes off jumping through the grass, but it’s not at all like you might expect.
