The 1970’s were filled with amazing music. But 1971 might be the best year out of all of them. Why you ask? Because singer songwriter Bill Withers created the song, “Ain’t No Sunshine.” It’s a classic song that has passed down for decades and people still love it to this day.
While many artists have tried to recreate the song over the years, very few have succeeded. That is, until now. In the video below, you will see singer songwriter Ed Sheeran perform his cover of “Ain’t No Sunshine.”
He sings the song on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Ed Sheeran may be crazy popular now, but his fame came after receiving worldwide acclaim with his hit song “Thinking Out Loud.”

In addition to making it to the top of the Billboard Hot 100, this cover song is absolutely incredible. It might be the only cover song of Bill Withers hit song that I actually enjoy.
Check out the video below and see for yourself if you think Withers would be proud. I think he would definitely approve. If you enjoy it, be sure to share it with your family and friends.
