Triton is a lion at the Johannesburg Zoo in South Africa who has a special talent that is making the jaws of people all over the world drop.

Agnes Maluleke is a zookeeper at this zoo, and she just spoke out to reveal that there is one toy that Triton favors — his much-adored football ball. Triton, an 11 year-old white lion, may look like the king of the jungle, but the video below shows that he is actually not that different from a house cat!

In this viral video, you’ll see Triton play with the football in the same way that a cat would play with a ball of yarn.

Lion Den reported that games like this are actually a huge part of a lion’s development. They said that “most of their play imitates behaviors they will use as adults including stalking and fighting. Play is an important way for cubs to learn these adult skills as well as to form strong social bonds with their companions.”

The footage of Triton playing football has been viewed nearly five million times, as people all over the globe can’t get enough of it!
