An astounding video is going viral this week showing a homeless former marine sit down at a piano and showcase his incredible talent.

The piano is located on a public sidewalk in Sarasota, Florida as part of an art project, and anyone can sit down and play it. When this homeless man with a scraggly beard sat down to play, nobody was expecting him to be this good!

Since the video went viral, the homeless man has been identified as Donald Gould, who is a 51 year-old veteran of the U.S. Marines. Donald’s wife passed away in 1998, and he has sadly been struggling with drug addiction since then. The veteran has tragically been living on the streets for many years.

Donald is the father of an 18 year-old son who he has not seen since the boy was a child. He told reporters that he still thinks about his son every day and would love nothing more than to be reunited with him. Until this dream comes true, Donald is content playing the piano for locals in Sarasota. He never expected footage of his playing to go viral and touch the hearts of millions!

“Incredible!” one social media user commented, with another adding, “Just beautiful.”

“Such talent, it’s a shame he is homeless,” added another person.
