Over the past few months, Meghan Markle’s family has become a major thorn in the side of the British royal family, as her father and half-siblings have been giving humiliating tell-all interviews about them every chance they get. Now, Meghan’s half-brother Thomas Markle Jr. has issued a demand to the British royal family that seems like a lot to ask given everything that has happened this year.

Thomas spoke out to question why the Markle family has been frozen out while the royal family seemingly welcomed Kate Middleton’s family with open arms.

“They have brought outsiders in before in the past like with the Middletons,” Thomas Jr. said. “I don’t see why our family is any different. Kensington Palace could have got involved a long time ago – as soon as they announced their engagement. They’ve dealt with this kind of stuff for a long time and why they did it this way, that’s the big question? Why? They could have looked after my dad and he would have been happy.”

What Thomas does not seem to realize is that the Middleton family has never gone to the press to insult the royal family and reveal personal details about them. Thomas Markle Sr., the father that Meghan and Thomas Jr. share, has repeatedly blasted Prince Harry and the rest of the royals in interviews, so how is the family supposed to welcome them with open arms?

If the Markles really want to have a relationship with Meghan and the rest of the royals, they need to take a page out of the Middletons’ playbook and stop talking to the press!
