Snow leopards are beautiful creatures, and they catch their prey by sneaking up on them and using the element of surprise. They will follow their prey quietly before they decide it is the right time to pounce.

While the cubs are born with the skill, it is still something they have to practice and turn into a fine art. By the looks of the video below, this baby snow leopard is off to a good start.

In the video below, you’ll see the baby sneaking up on its own mother. Spectators at the zoo noticed the cub patiently waiting for the right time to sneak up on it’s mother, and managed to catch it all on video.

The baby cub hides patiently behind a rock, and when the time is right, makes its move. It wasn’t the cub that ended up making the biggest move. When the mom finally spotted the baby, she jumped higher than a kangaroo!.
