Firefighters risk their lives every day to protect and serve their communities. This summer, firefighters from all over the country traveled to California to fight the Carr wildfire. Now, a photo is going viral showing just how devoted these firefighters are to serving their communities.
Brandon and Katelyn Parra posted the touching photo to Instagram.
“This picture literally brings me to a whole new respect for the fire fighters. After days of fighting this fire, they curled up and slept on the ground in my neighborhood just to do it again tonight,” they captioned the image. “Thank you for saving my home and running into a fire that the rest of the town is running from. You all are true hero’s.”
This serves as a reminder of just how amazing firefighters really are! Sadly, firefighters rarely get the thanks that they deserve, but they aren’t doing their jobs for accolades. Instead, they just want to make sure that their communities are safe, which makes them true heroes in our eyes!
