Dogs are known as man’s best friends because of the unparalleled love and loyalty that they show their human counterparts. A story about a bullmastiff named Brutus is now going viral that shows this in a huge and adorable way!
Bonnie Michalek and her husband adopted Brutus in 2016, and they quickly learned that the big dog is a gentle giant of sorts. He immediately became clued to his owners’ hip and wanted to do everything that they do!
Brutus is a big goofball who loves running around and having fun. He is also so intuitive that he realized that Bonnie was pregnant before even she did.
Though Brutus loves kids, Bonnie and her husband when they introduced their newborn Kayden to him, as they did not know how the dog would react. Nothing could have prepared them for what happened next!
As soon as Brutus met Kayden, he started showering the newborn with kisses. Bonnie and her parents immediately knew this was the beginning of a beautiful friendship!
Brutus proved to be a huge help with Kayden, as he would try to comfort the newborn whenever he cried. Brutus has a toy called a “fluff ball” that he is very possessive of, and he does not share it with anyone. That’s why Bonnie was stunned when Brutus shared the toy with Kayden one day to calm him down, and sure enough, it worked!
