When a mother found out that her son had been bullying a new student at school, she took it upon herself to discipline him in a way that has since gone viral. It’s been shared more than 50,000 times and received thousands of comments.
Her message to Facebook explained that she was absolutely disgusted that her 12-year-old son saw it fit to purposely tread on the new girl’s foot and twist his foot so hard that it broke her new shoes.
She then went on to tell her son that if he so much as breathes in her direction, or any other student’s direction in a bullying manner that she would purposely hand him over to their parents to do every demeaning chore they saw fit.

“You can kiss goodbye your birthday money as you will be buying the girl a new pair of shoes and a bunch of flowers,” she said. She made sure that her son could see the post by tagging him in it before it went viral (which she didn’t realize would happen).
She says she also wanted his friends to see that his actions would have consequences and that he’s not big, clever, or funny and that he answers to his mom.
She went on to explain that she didn’t care who doesn’t agree with her parenting style because he humiliated and embarrassed a girl and that girl still cried. For all he knew that girl left her old school for being bullied and his ridiculous act would have made her feel horrible.

“So my so-called embarrassing him online is to be quite frankly nothing in comparison to the humiliation that little girl had to face walking around with a broken shoe and red eyes from crying when she is new,” she said.
The mother did go on to explain that she did sit down with her son and talk to him about his bad behavior. She didn’t just post on Facebook. She says she is completely confident that the occurrence won’t be repeated.

While some people criticized her for her public shaming, others have applauded her actions. What do you think? Were they justified or not? Be sure to share this story with your family and friends and see what they think.
