Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle turned 37 on Saturday, and she celebrated her first birthday as a royal in a very special way!

Meghan ended up spending her birthday attending the wedding of Daisy Jenks and Charlie van Straubenzee, who is a longtime friend of Prince Harry. The wedding took place in the English countryside, around 50 miles from London.

While Harry was not the best man, he did have an important role in the wedding in that he was responsible for usher duties, and Meghan attended the wedding with her husband as a guest.

Though Meghan was careful not to take any attention away from the bride, she did turn heads with the dress she wore to the wedding. She showed up wearing a sheer and flowy dress, the top half of which was all-black, while the bottom half featured a pop of forest green and white. Meghan completed her look with a black waist belt and a fancy matching hat as well as a dark clutch and simple gold bracelet.
