When it comes to finding a job, we all hope that we can find a job that we love and are passionate about. So when Kimber Bermudez was asked about her job on a flight from Chicago to Florida, she didn’t hesitate to talk about it.

Kimber is a teacher and she loves her job. She explained to the fellow passenger that the biggest challenge she faces in teaching is working at a low income school because it can be heartbreaking.

She says she believes that no child should ever do without, and the man confessed that his company often donates things for schools like hers. He asked Kimber for her contact information, but something amazing happened before she ever got off the plane.

The man behind her tapped her on the shoulder and apologized for eavesdropping on their conversation. Then he handed her a wad of cash and told her to do something amazing.

She wasn’t sure how much there was until she got off the plane, but she saw the $100 bill on top and promised him that she would buy her students books and give back to her school. She later realized the wad of cash wasn’t just $100, but $500.

When the plane landed another man on the plane admitted to overhearing the conversation and added to her donations with another $20 bill. Another passenger in front of Kimber handed her a $10.

She says she started crying right then and there. She promised the men that she would do something amazing for the kids and she didn’t tell her story just to solicit money.
