It’s been no secret that Meghan Markle’s relationship with her father has been a thorn in her side, but Thomas Markle has now become quite a headache for the entire royal family.

Palace officials have reportedly started holding emergency meetings about his proclivity for talking to the British press. Supposedly three of the emergency meetings have been called to discuss how to stop Markle from creating so much drama for his daughter.

Since marrying Prince Harry on May 19, Markle has suggested that his daughter is miserable and criticized her attitude. He even went so far as to try to pick a fight with the Queen.

So far, Meghan has remained relatively quiet about the drama herself, but that doesn’t mean that the royal family is ignoring the media spectacle that her father is making.

Sources say it comes down to Meghan having three options. She could consider contacting him and asking him to stop hurting her, have an intermediary meeting with him, or cut him off completely.

As of right now, it would appear that she might have already chosen the last of the options, and we can’t say that at this point we would blame her.
