Very few people make it to their 100th birthday, which is why this woman wanted to make sure that she celebrated hers in the best way possible!
When Elisabeth Cockrell turned 100, her entire family gathered in the backyard to celebrate with her. As Elisabeth started walking towards her seat, someone started playing the song “24K Magic” by Bruno Mars. That’s when Elisabeth did something that nobody was expecting!
Elisabeth began to dance as soon as she heard the catchy song, and her moves have since gone viral, as people all over the world can’t get enough of them!
“She got to the door and the music started playing, she just went,” said one of Elisabeth’s grandsons, Daron Anderson, who recorded the video. “She’s vivacious. Nobody expected my grandma to do that, I was just so thankful.”
Daron went on to explain that Elisabeth is a mother of five who also has many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Though she has become a viral sensation, Elisabeth has no idea how famous she really is!
“She doesn’t know the technologies of today,” Daron explained.
Elisabeth is now showing the entire world that age really is just a number. Just because she is now a centenarian, it doesn’t mean Elisabeth can’t still get down and party!
