Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, has stayed dignified despite the public outbursts of her father. However, behind closed doors, those closest to Markle say that she is at her wits end.

Markle, 36, has been accused by her father, Thomas Markle, of cutting him off in a slew of media interviews. According to royal correspondent, Katie Nicholl, the Duchess of Sussex has been turning to her sister-in-law for support.

Kate Middleton has been a pillar of support behind palace walls, and Prince Harry reportedly is relieved that they have formed a very close relationship.

The blossoming friendship between the two duchesses has been evident in some pictures seen of the duo earlier this month. Middleton is well aware what her sister-in-law is going through and has made a big effort to look out for her.

Although the two women are quite different, they have bonded over their love of dogs, the great outdoors, and tennis. Middleton reportedly invites Markle to her apartment regularly for tea and they talk on the phone at least once a week.

Ever since Thomas Markle has spoke out about his daughter and his lack of relationship with her, Middleton has been very sympathetic with her sister-in-law.

Markle’s father recently claimed that he wants to send his daughter a card for her birthday on August 4, but he doesn’t even know where to send it. He says he’ll probably be one of thousands and she’ll never even see it.
