It’s been nearly 21 years since Princess Diana tragically passed away, yet her presence is still strongly felt by millions of people all over the globe. Royal fans were stunned recently when a knew photo of Prince George was released in which the child bore a striking resemblance to his late grandmother, Diana.
When Prince George turned five last month, Kensington Palace released a photo of him to mark the occasion, as is the tradition in the British royal family.

Royal fans praised the photo, saying that it shows just how adorable the prince is. As they looked closer, fans also noticed that as George is growing up, many similarities to Diana are becoming apparent! When looking at the two side by side, the resemblance they share is clear.
Everyone quickly noticed is that George and Diana have the exact same smile!
“Same smile as his beautiful late grandma,” one Instagram user wrote.
“I think it’s just the same lips and same smile as Diana,” another added.
We all knew that Diana was already living on through her legacy, which is being preserved by her sons Prince William and Prince Harry. However, it’s also nice to see that her physical attributes are being preserved in her grandchildren as well!
