The renowned a cappella group Pentatonix is known for their amazing covers of classic songs. They first gained fame when they won the third season of NBC’s “The Sing-Off,” and since then they have taken home three Grammy’s and performed with the likes of Dolly Parton.
While the group has done many incredible covers, they may have outdid themselves with this one!
The group recently released their version of the classic John Lennon song “Imagine,” and it is bringing fans all over the world to tears.

The quintet begins by serenading their fans with their breathtaking a cappella harmonies, but they don’t stop there. Partway through the song, the group members start slowly holding up signs to “identify” themselves. The signs say things like “Jewish,” “Black,” “Latina” and “American,” among others. The signs are clearly meant to depict how society identifies each of the group members.
Much like Lennon wanted to do when he originally wrote the song, this group managed to show that regardless of how different we are from each other, we can all come together as humans. Though we may have our differences, we should always try to show our fellow humans love and respect.

The cover has gone viral, as social media users can’t get enough of it.
“This performance brought me to tears! It truly touched my soul, as many of your performances do. Thank you so much for sharing and doing what you do. Pure goosebumps!” one user wrote.
“The message is strong. We all are the same and equal. Despite the gender, nationality, race, skin color, religion, beliefs, social status, We all are HUMAN. Let’s try to live in peace, unity, and treat each other respectfully,” another added.
