Meet Baby, a kitten who was abandoned and discovered in her future owner’s backyard when he heard her meowing.

“Found this little one in my backyard in a hole under the fence,” the man posted online. “She was the runt and the mom abandoned her after moving the litter.”

The man tore down his rock wall to save Baby, and he then took her into his home to give her round-the-clock care.

“She didn’t open her eyes for 10 days,” he said. “I woke up/came home every 2.5 hours to bottle feed and warm her bed.”

After 11 days of TLC, Baby finally opened her eyes!

As soon as Baby managed to get on her feet, she went off to explore her new home.

Baby’s favorite thing to do was lay out in the sun!

Baby is a bit older now, but she has continued to repay her owner for saving her by giving him all the love she can in return!

She loves snuggling on her owner’s shoulder and taking a nap!

“She always pays special attention to me when I get back from a work trip,” the owner explained, adding that she usually goes right for his belly when he lays down.

Photos of Baby have since gone viral, as people can’t get enough of the bond she shares with her owner! He says that though he never intended to have a pet, he is very glad that Baby came into his life!

We can only imagine that Baby would say the feeling is mutual!
