Michael Buble and his wife, Luisana Lopilato heard the news that no parent ever wants to hear. It was October 2016 when they learned that their three-year-old son, Noah, had liver cancer. They said their whole life changed and the diagnosis gave them a whole new idea of what matters in life.

It was hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but a little over a year after finding out the devastating new, the family had some absolutely amazing news to share. Their little boy was in remission, and he was about to be a big brother! Buble was going to be a father for the third time.
It was during the 2018 Juno Awards that Buble took the opportunity as host to share the exciting news with the crowd. Lopilato later showed off her baby bump as she glided down the red carpet arm in arm with the “Everything” singer.

It wasn’t long after that the couple reported that they were expecting a baby girl. “I got my first little girl coming in three weeks. I’ve actually never said that before in public. I’ve got a daughter coming,” said Buble excitedly.
Then on Thursday, July 26, the couple announced the arrival of a baby girl that weighed six pounds and one ounce. A black and white photo of her tiny newborn hand was posted on Instagram. Along with the photo was a heart felt message in Spanish.
“How to explain that our heart explodes with love? That there’s not enough hours in the day to think about it,” wrote Lopilato. “I thank God for making us this gift of life and happiness! Because looking in her eyes is like looking at heaven itself!”

The overjoyed couple didn’t immediately reveal the baby’s name, but a rep for the family later revealed that they named her Vida Amber Betty. Vida means “life” in Spanish and her middle names were chosen in honor of her grandmothers. Amber is Buble’s mother’s name and Lopilato’s mother’s name is Betty.
Share this exciting announcement with your family and friends and wish the family and their new addition well.
