Chris Norton was your average, every day college football player until tragedy struck. In 2010, he found himself laying on a football field unable to move after a horrible accident. For eight years after the accident, Chris worked tirelessly to try to cope with his disability.

He was only give a three percent chance of ever doing anything again. Even simple things like scratching his face would be difficult, let alone walking. But Chris was determined not to let his disability ruin his positive outlook and life.

He learned to adapt to his new lifestyle and how to carry on despite being paralyzed from the neck down. He even fell in love with a girl named Emily. The pair were going strong and Chris eventually asked her to be his wife.

The couple became an outstanding team, and Chris was determined to walk his wife down the aisle and stand during his wedding vows. With Emily by his side for support and encouragement, he felt more and more confident as he pushed himself in rehabilitation.

The big day came and Chris and Emily were going to tie the knot. What the guests at the wedding didn’t know is that they were about to witness more than a marriage. They were about to witness a miracle.
