Few things are worse in life than getting caught red-handed doing something that you know that you are not supposed to be doing. Children everywhere know this feeling all too well, as they are constantly being caught doing bad things by their parents, and the excuses they give for the mini-crimes that they are committing can sometimes be hilarious.

A funny video is going viral this week showing 2 year-old Noel Hopkins get caught red-handed by his mother drawing on a mirror with lipstick. Instead of owning up to what he has just been caught doing, Noel comes up with an alibi for himself that is nothing short of hilarious.

Knowing that he needed to cover his tracks, Noel decided to blame the situation on someone else!

“Who drew on mommy’s mirror?” Noel’s mother Laura asked him.

“I don’t know,” Noel replied before he ran towards the bed.

“Was it you?” Laura asked him pointedly.

That’s when Noel decided to blame the deed on Batman! Yes, you read that correctly, he blamed it on the superhero Batman!

This ended up inadvertently being a great strategy for Noel, as his mother found his excuse so humorous that she seems to have forgiven him on the spot! It’s pretty hard to stay mad at a little boy as adorable as Noel in any situation, so we can’t blame his mother for finding his Batman excuse to be so funny that she let him off the hook.
