It only took the bravery of a 95-year-old Air Force veteran to convince a little boy to be brave enough to jump off the diving board. Michael Bliss was determined to show the youngster that there was nothing to be afraid of.
With his cane in hand and family members helping to keep him steady, Bliss walked up onto the diving board of a pool so the little neighbor boy could watch. There were a couple of times in the video below that might make you nervous, but everything turned out okay.
Bliss gets up on the board and loses his balance, but his family is close by to help him regain his balance before he finally takes the plunge. When he lunges off the board, Bliss does one of the most impressive half belly flops that might have ever been executed by someone of his age.

Bliss’s daughter, Christine Ross, was one of the family members on hand and says her dad is very spry for his age. He’s both a WWII and Korean War veteran in the U.S. Air Force and is nearly 96 years old.
She says he’s full of amazing stories and has a song for every occasion. After hearing that the video of his jump was shared online, he told his family he hopes it gets seen around the world.

Check out the video below and help make his dreams come true by sharing this story with your family and friends. Pretty impressive for a 95-year-old!
