Any parent knows how difficult it can be to deal with the temper tantrums of toddlers. Now, a new video has surfaced that shows that it’s not only human babies who can throw temper tantrums of epic proportions!

The video below this story begins with a baby elephant walking across a dirt road to a patch of grass. Once he gets there, the little elephant decides he’s not getting enough attention from the adults around him, so he decides to throw a huge tantrum in order to get it back!

The elephant starts rolling around in the grass and sitting on his hind legs as he throws a tantrum that would rival that of a human toddler. When the first adult elephant who walks by ignores his tantrum, the baby decides to step things up by falling out onto the dirt road and acting like he can’t get up.

Any parent knows that when your child is throwing a tantrum in a bid for attention, it’s best to just ignore them until they exhaust themselves. That’s exactly what the adult elephants do in this video, sending the message to the baby that throwing a tantrum is not the way to get the attention that he craves.

Eventually, the baby realizes that his plan to get attention has failed, so he jumps up and rejoins the rest of his group in the grass. This baby learned a huge lesson in a very adorable way!
