Goodwill is a place people can go to find decent clothing for very cheap prices. Everything in the store is affordable, and you have the opportunity there to create an entire outfit for a very low price.
Sarah Thomas is an entrepreneur who has always loved going to thrift stores, so she combined these skills recently to create an online clothing business. She started going to thrift stores regularly in the hopes of finding merchandise that she could sell online.

The most recent item she scored was the Petunia Pickle Bottom diaper bag, a high end item that can go for over a hundred dollars. Sarah bought it for just three dollars, but when she got home, she noticed that it felt a lot heavier than an empty bag should.
She recalled that she then heard something “shaking around in there,” which caused her to panic. When she opened the bag, she realized she had nothing to fear, as she only found a blue digital camera, with a memory card filled with pictures.
Though the camera was not expensive, Sarah knew that the previous owner would want to get her pictures back. The only clue that Sarah had to the owner’s identity was the pictures themselves, so she took to Facebook to share some of them in the hopes of finding the owner.
“I’m not sure if this is ok to post here, but I purchased a diaper bag at the Goodwill and found a blue Sony Cybershot camera inside with photos,” she wrote. “Does anyone know who this family or people in these pictures are? I want to make sure they get their camera and most definitely their SD card.”

Surprisingly, it only took Sarah one hour to find the camera’s owner! The person who owned the camera turned out to be young mother Katie Connor, who went to meet up with Sarah to get her camera back. She could not believe how kind Sarah was to go through the trouble of finding her!
This just goes to show how powerful an act of kindness can be! We need more people like Sarah in the world!
