Not everyone is cut out for the television show America’s Got Talent. We’ve all seen the ones that couldn’t make the cut and made us wonder how they ever thought they stood a chance. But you might also remember Celine Tam, who didn’t make the cut either and left us wondering how the judges couldn’t see her talent. Lucky for the pint-sized singer, she’d get a second chance.

Tam, named after singing sensation Celine Dion, appeared on the popular television show last season, but got booted from the show by judge Mel B who chastised Tam for singing a song that was too big for her. After watching the video below, you’ll likely disagree with Mel B. We’re not sure that any song could be too big for this cutie from Hong Kong.

With a vocal range that Dion herself might envy, Tam joins German entertainer and singer Helene Fischer in a duet rendition of “You Raise Me Up.” Tam appears to be singing from the heart grateful that Fischer is giving her a second chance.

As Fischer opens the duet, Tam obviously admires the singer and her beautiful voice. While the situation could have been awkward, Tam appears confident in her abilities and joins the woman’s vocals flawlessly. Tam obviously has been blessed with the same buttery voice as her namesake.

The two wow the crowd with their amazing vocals, and it becomes quite obvious that Tam isn’t a loser from America’s Got Talent at all. Instead, she proves that they missed the mark and she was too good to be on their show anyway. Who needs to win America’s Got Talent when you’ve already won the hearts of fans around the world?
