Most people are not happy when rain comes and ruins their outdoor plans. However, farmers love it when it rains because it helps their crops.
The five Canadian farmers in this video were going through a difficult time when they shot this, as they were in the middle of a drought. Instead of letting this get them down, the farmers decided to come together to have some fun with the lack of rain.
Luke, J.J., Ty, Brock and Dusty Hunter are five brothers who run their family farm together. They just teamed up to make a parody set to the tune of the country song “Friends in Low Places,” and it was all about their lack of rain.

Sometimes you have to just laugh when life throws you curveballs, and that’s exactly what the Hunter boys do in their song “I’ve Got No Grain In Dry Places.”
“I got no grain in dry places, all the crops are short and the sun chases the rain away. But we’ll be okay!” they sing.

J.J. Hunter recently opened up about how they formed their band.
“As we grew up, we would farm in the summer, play hockey all winter and then spend weekends during the summer months performing at festivals and various events throughout western Canada and in the US,” he said. “We are quickly learning that the process of being a musician is much more about the journey than a destination. Goals are important, but enjoying the process is something we’ve talked about extensively as brothers.”
“Whatever comes in 2018, we’re excited to meet it head on!” J.J. continued optimistically.
