It only makes sense that Prince George and Princess Charlotte would be avid football fans. After all, their father, Prince William, is the President of the Football Association. With World Cup fever hitting the globe, the young royals have made it clear, they want to be part of the action.
Prince George and Princess Charlotte were recently spotted in the gardens outside Kensington Palace playing the sport with their friends. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have often talked about their fondness for the sport so it’s no wonder that has passed on to their two oldest children.
Earlier this year, the young royals’ mother, Kate Middleton, revealed that both children have Aston Villa kits, the Birmingham based ream that Prince William supports. She says that they love putting on the Villa kits.

When Charlotte was just 17-months-old, Prince William reportedly confessed that his young daughter was already showing great potential as a future footballer. “Charlotte is the one who shows more aptitude for football,” William said during a chat with England’s women team captain, Steph Houghton.
Prince William says that George is getting in to the sport slowly, but Charlotte is showing more aptitude. We’re sure the proud father hopes that both of his children take interest in the sport as much as he and his wife do.
