A Green Bay Packers standout was recently flying back to Wisconsin from his hometown of El Paso, Texas. When his flight landed, he looked across the aisle and saw an elderly woman struggling to use her cane and get her bags off the plane. He immediately knew he had to do something to help her.

Nancee Lingg is an 82 year-old grandmother who flew alone from her home in Texas to see a relative graduate high school. Without hesitating, the NFL star offered to help Nancee get off the plane, and she gratefully accepted. The player grabbed her bags and as they stepped off the plane, the flight attendant told Nancee that someone would be waiting on the jet bridge for her with a wheelchair.
Sadly, nobody was actually there.
Undeterred, the NFL player grabbed a wheelchair and told Nancee that he would push her through the airport himself as he carried her bags. She could not believe how generous he was being!
Nancee had no idea that this Good Samaritan was actually NFL star Aaron Jones until they met her daughter-in-law Jackie Lingg in the public area of the airport. Jackie instantly recognized Aaron as the NFL athlete that he is!

NFL fan Monica Allen snapped a photo of Aaron pushing Nancee through the airport and posted it on social media, where it quickly went viral.

Packers coach Mike McCarthy told reporters that he had a “big smile” across his face when he saw what Aaron had done.
“I look at that as I’m thankful that everybody else is getting to see what I get to see pretty much every day. I mean, this is a tremendous locker room,” McCarthy said. “We’ve been very fortunate and blessed with the caliber of character that we have in our locker room. So when things like that are expressed, especially on social media, it brings a smile to my face. But that’s what I get to experience with these guys every day. Their heart is in the right place, and I’m sure obviously he probably didn’t even know someone took that picture. That’s just the type of guy he is.”

Nancee’s granddaughter Teresa Lingg said that the entire situation was “really cool” and that her grandmother was grateful to Aaron for his help.
“My mom and grandma both said, ‘He must have been raised very well,'” she said.
We’re so glad to see that this NFL player went above and beyond to help an elderly woman in need! SHARE this story so your friends and family can see this as well!
