Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have shocked their fans in recent weeks by rekindling their romance seventeen years after they called off their engagement in front of the entire world.

While appearing on the “Today” show on Tuesday morning, Lopez was asked about her rekindled romance with Affleck, but she refused to take the bait and discuss it. It was host Hoda Kotb who tried to get information about the romance out of her, but Lopez was not having any of it.

“You look happier,” Kotb told Lopez. “Look, I just have to tell you, every time I see a picture of you and Ben, I’m like, ‘She looks happier, she looks happier.’ Are we happier?”

Lopez didn’t take the bait, however, and instead smiled her way through the question.

“I’m always happy when I see you Hoda,” the singer and actress said charmingly as she attempted to dodge this line of questioning.

“Wait, it’s me you’re talking to, you know that,” Kotb responded, to which Lopez fired back, “I know. You can call me. You have my number!”

Lopez was on the show to promote her new song “Love Makes the World Go Round,” which was released again today in honor of the fifth anniversary of the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando, Florida. Once she’d had enough of Kotb’s questions about Affleck, Lopez shifted the conversation back to the song.

“The song is out, five years since we’ve done it,” Lopez said. “And I believe that that message of loving one another and coming together and love, is never more relevant than it is right now.”

This comes as Lopez and Affleck’s romance is reportedly heating up, with friends of theirs saying that they will likely soon move in together.

“Their friends wouldn’t be surprised if they move in together and ultimately end up together,” one source said, according to Daily Mail. “They’re spending all of their free time together and making each other a priority. J.Lo falls hard certainly done the same with Ben again this time around.”

“Ben is a guy’s guy and does his own thing, which J.Lo loves,” he added. “He has his own life and is famous in a different way than she is and is not trying to compete with her by any means. They just support and love each other.”

Lopez and Affleck began dating in 2001 and were engaged from 2002 until 2004. They would each go on to marry others and have children before divorcing their respective partners.
