Piers Morgan is speaking out this week to say that he’s been invited back to “Good Morning Britain” after he left the show two months ago amidst backlash he got for criticizing Meghan Markle.

In the wake of Morgan’s exit from the morning show, ratings for it have tanked, which is likely why they want him back.

“They reached out — there have been approaches. Never say never,” Morgan told The Sun.

Morgan’s refusal to apologize for criticizing Meghan was a major factor in his exit, and he stands by that now. In fact, he’s now saying that Meghan and Prince Harry should be stripped of their royal titles for “trashing the institution and causing a lot of damage.”

“I think they should be stripped of their titles because they’re trashing the institution and causing a lot of damage in the Commonwealth where a lot of the countries are believing this racism crap,” Morgan said. “They’ve become the world’s biggest victims in the middle of a pandemic. It’s pathetic. Harry needs to grow up.”

After he left “Good Morning Britain,” Morgan took to social media to say that he had been a victim of cancel culture.

“Those of you that know me well enough know that, despite my many faults, I’m always willing to stand my ground for the things that I think matter most,” he wrote on Instagram at the time. “And now I’ve lost my job at Good Morning Britain because I chose not to apologise for disbelieving Meghan Markle’s claims in her interview with Oprah Winfrey.”

“I thus became the latest ‘victim’ of the cancel culture that is permeating our country, every minute, of every hour, of everyday,” he added. “Though of course, I consider myself to be neither a victim, nor actually cancelled.”

Morgan lashed out at Meghan for her tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey as he spoke to Tucker Carlson on “Fox Nation” last month.

“You’re accusing … people in the palace of being unspeakably cruel simply to protect the brand of the Royal family. If that is true, let’s have the names of these people, and let’s go to them and ask them is this true,” Morgan said. “Did you tell a suicidal woman who told you she was suicidal she was not allowed to get help? Because I find that impossible to believe.”

“Here we are a month later, and frankly — I’ve had plenty of time to think about this — I still don’t believe any of what they were saying,” Morgan added.

“Seventeen different claims by the pair of them have now been proven to be either completely untrue or massively exaggerated or unprovable,” he continued. “I don’t understand why I should have to believe people who are not telling the truth. There are so many ridiculous whoppers in this interview that frankly, in the end, saying I would believe her would be like saying I believe Pinocchio. Why would I?”
