Lori Loughlin of “Full House” and “Fuller House” fame has asked a judge for permission to travel to Mexico with her fashion designer husband Mossimo Giannulli after they both completed their prison sentences for their respective roles in the college admissions scandal.

Court documents that were filed on Monday and obtained by People Magazine show that Loughlin, 56, and Giannulli, 57, have asked a judge for permission to take a five-day trip to San Jose Del Cabo this June “to spend time with [their] family.”

Their travel request states that Loughlin has paid her $150,000 fine and completed her community service requirement, to which she was sentenced to 150 hours. It also says that Giannulli has paid his fine of $250,000 and “is actively working on completing his community service requirement.”

Loughlin and Giannulli pled guilty last year to charges related to them allegedly paying $500,000 in bribe money to have their two daughters admitted to the University of Southern California as members of the crew team, even though neither girl had ever rowed before.

Loughlin served two months in prison for her role in the college admissions scandal, and she was released at the end of December. Her husband served five months behind bars and was released at the end of April.

Yahoo News reported that back in December, Loughlin’s daughter Olivia Jade Giannulli defended her parents as “good people.”

“I’m not trying to victimize myself,” she said. “I don’t want pity, I don’t deserve pity. We messed up.”

“I think that what hasn’t been super public is that there is no justifying or excusing what happened because what happened is wrong. I think every single person in my family can be like, ‘That was messed up. That was a big mistake,'” Olivia Jade added. “But I think what’s so important to me is to learn from the mistake, not to now be shamed and punished and never be given a second chance. I’m 21, I feel like I deserve a second chance to redeem myself, to show I’ve grown.”

A source recently said that Loughlin and Giannulli were “beyond relieved” after having served their respective prison sentences.

“Mossimo is, of course, happy to be done with the home confinement,” the source said. “They are both beyond relieved to have completed their prison sentences. Mossimo has to finish his community service, but then he can really move on.”

“Lori is a wonderful wife, mother and friend,” the insider added. “She and Mossimo made huge mistakes. They have taken responsibility for them and just want to start fresh now.”
