Last summer, fans were stunned when Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews were abruptly fired from “Dancing With The Stars” and replaced by the supermodel Tyra Banks. Eight months later, Bergeron and Andrews reunited for cocktails, and they documented their reunion on Instagram.

“Reunited & it feels so good 😉 with @erinandrews,” Bergeron captioned a photo of him at a restaurant with Andrews. “Having sack after tequila after sack after tequila!!!”

He later posted a second photo of the two of them outside, captioning it, “This reunion deserves another post 🥰 (with @erinandrews).”

Andrews reposted the restaurant photo on her own account, writing, “Always something in the works.”

“What a fine looking pair of humans 😏😘,” Bergeron commented on it.

This reunion came eight months after Andrews and Bergeron were both fired from “Dancing With The Stars.” Bergeron had been with the show since it premiered back in 2005, while Andrews had previously been a contestant on it and had cohosted it with him since 2014.

“Tom Bergeron will forever be part of the Dancing with the Stars family. As we embark on a new creative direction, he departs the show with our sincerest thanks and gratitude for his trademark wit and charm that helped make this show a success,” ABC said in a statement back in July, according to People Magazine. “Erin will also not be returning, and we appreciate all that she brought to the ballroom. Fans have been rooting for her since she originally competed as a contestant back in 2010, and her signature sense of humor has become a hallmark of the show.”

“Dancing With The Stars” producer Andrew Llinares addressed the pair’s exit back in the fall.

“Any show like this that has been on for many, many seasons needs to continue to evolve,” he said during day two of ABC’s virtual fall press day.  “So I think changing that host is all about evolution. It was all about making the show feel fresh, making it feel new and make it reach out to a new audience — as well as the audience that’s been there for years.”
