Debbie is a 66 year-old woman who may look like a flower child of the past with her “hippie” look, but don’t let that fool you. She’s actually a professional businesswoman Harpers Ferry, West Virginia who was ready to make a physical change and ditch the look she’d been rocking for around forty years.

“I came here so that I could kind of begin the next phase of my life,” she explained.

That’s why she decided to travel all the way to the Minneapolis, Minnesota salon of Christopher Hopkins, who is better known as “The Makeover Guy.” Christopher specializes in giving women over the age of 45 a new lease on life with incredible makeovers, so Debbie knew he was the perfect person to help her out.

”The whole mission is to uplift behavior through beauty,” Christopher said in the trailer video for his YouTube channel. “How you present yourself: how you speak, how you walk, how you talk, how you present yourself to the world.”

Debbie told Christopher that she wants her physical look to better resemble who she is on the inside.

“I’m an old hippie, I don’t want to be a hippie anymore,” she said. “I’m not a hippie, I’m a professional person and I want to look the part.”

Christopher knew exactly what to do with Debbie, and he proceeded to give her a new hairstyle and a full face of makeup. By the time he was done with her, Debbie looked like a new and much younger woman!

“I feel like I’m beautiful again,” Debbie said after the makeover. “I had lost that, and now I feel like I’m getting it back. It’s a good feeling … I think this is really going to improve my morale. You know, we need to put time into ourselves.”

Social media users agreed that this was one of Christopher’s best makeovers ever.

“That is NOT what I was expecting at all! I love it! Great haircut and color, and nice makeup. Very stylish and professional. Great job!!” one fan commented, with another adding, “Christopher, this was one of your best. She was beautiful to begin with, but you and the team enhanced the heck out of her looks. She looks amazing!”
