Yesterday, we reported that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry had announced that they were expecting their second child. Now, it’s been revealed that Oprah Winfrey has scored the first sit-down interview with the couple since they announced their engagement.

Fox News reported that the television special “Oprah With Meghan and Harry: A CBS Primetime Special,” will be airing on Sunday, March 7.

“Oprah Winfrey as she sits down with Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, for an intimate conversation for an exclusive primetime special,” states a press release for the special. “Winfrey will speak with Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex, in a wide-ranging interview, covering everything from stepping into life as a Royal, marriage, motherhood, philanthropic work to how she is handling life under intense public pressure.’

“Later, the two are joined by Prince Harry as they speak about their move to the United States and their future hopes and dreams for their expanding family,” the press release added.

This comes one day after Meghan and Harry announced that they are expecting their second child.

“We can confirm that Archie is going to be a big brother. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to be expecting their second child,” their spokesperson said. They are already parents to Archie Harrison, who turns two this coming May.

Winfrey reportedly lives in the same neighborhood as Meghan and Harry in the ritzy area of Montecito, California. Meghan and Harry settled their last summer, months after they stepped down as senior members of the British royal family. Since moving to California, Meghan and Harry have signed major deals to create content for Netflix and Spotify.

Meghan and Harry have reportedly been “over the moon” ever since they welcomed Archie in May of 2019.

“It’s magic. It’s pretty amazing. I have the best two guys in the world, so I’m really happy,” Meghan said just after Archie was born. “He’s just been a dream.”

“It’s been the most amazing experience I could ever possibly imagine,” Harry added. “[We look forward to spending] precious times with him as he slowly, slowly starts to grow up.”
