Yesterday, we reported that Lady Gaga’s dog walker had been shot, and that two of her three dogs had been stolen. Now, chilling footage has emerged of the moment this horrifying crime occurred.

Daily Mail reported that the footage was captured on a neighbor’s doorbell camera near West Hollywood’s Sierra Bonita Avenue. It shows Ryan Fischer, Gaga’s 30 year-old friend and dog walker, walking with her three dogs, Koji, Gustav and Miss Asia at around 10pm on Wednesday night when he was suddenly attacked.

The attackers grabbed Koji and Gustav after shooting Fischer once in the chest, and Miss Asia managed to escape by running away. Once the attackers were gone, Miss Asia ran back to Fischer, who by then was screaming “Help! I’ve been shot!”

Gaga is currently in Italy filming a movie, but she has offered a $500,000 “no questions asked” reward for the return of her dogs. Los Angeles Police Capt. Jonathan Tippet told People Magazine that Fischer is in stable condition, and when asked if he’d make a full recovery, he said, “I believe he will.”

Tippet also said that police have two suspects who are believed to be Black men between the ages of 20-25, and they remain at large at this time.

Dr. Fred Pescatore, a friend and former client of Fischer’s, said that he had been texting with him Thursday and that he had said he was “breathing on his own now.”

“The thing he texted was not even about him. It was, ‘I miss you. I love you. Thank you,'” said Pescatore, who described Fischer as a selfless and “amazing” person who was a gifted writer, artist and musician.’

He added that Fischer is a “very laid back. Easygoing, personable, inquisitive. I’ve never met anyone [who doesn’t love him]. There’s nothing negative about that man.”

Pescatore also talked about how great Fischer is with dogs.

“He’s just amazing with them. He cares. They’re like his children,” Pescatore said. “He’s very in tune with the dogs’ needs. He would do anything for them, anything.”

In the end, Pescatore is just hoping his friend can heal from this.

“I just want the world to know the man behind Lady Gaga’s dogs, and other people’s dogs,” Pescatore said. “And this man deserves recognition. He was the one that was shot. He was the one protecting her dogs. And not enough people are focusing on that.”
