Beverly is a 69 year-old woman from North Carolina who is preparing to turn 70. As an anniversary gift to her husband, Beverly decided to treat herself to a makeover in the hopes of taking decades off her age.

Wanting to go to the absolute best, Beverly traveled all the way to the Minneapolis, Minnesota salon of Christopher Hopkins, who is better known as “The Makeover Guy.” Christopher specializes in giving women over the age of 45 a new lease on life with his life changing makeovers, so Beverly knew she would be in good hands!

”The whole mission is to uplift behavior through beauty,” Christopher said in the trailer video for his YouTube channel. “How you present yourself: how you speak, how you walk, how you talk, how you present yourself to the world.”

When Beverly entered Christopher’s salon, she was open about being ready for a change when it came to her looks.

“I feel like I’m about 30 years old inside. I love the outdoors. I love the nature…” she said before her makeover.

Beverly went on to confess that she misses the color her hair used to have, as well as the shine that her skin had when she was younger. Beverly’s daughter was there as well to offer her mother emotional support, and when she saw the results of the makeover, she could not believe her eyes.

“Oh my god, you look so beautiful!” she exclaimed.

Social media users agreed that this was one of Christopher’s best makeovers yet!

“I really liked the color change and the cut is fantastic! She looks beautiful,” one social media user commented, with another adding, “This is another wonderful transformation nobody would believe if it wasn’t on the video. This lady is a real lady through and through.”

“I loved this makeover,” a third user commented. “She speaks for me and possibly other mature women, when she said ‘my body does not allow me to do the things I used to do.’ (paraphrased). It takes some adjustment to realize things are changing. She was a very pretty woman before, but the makeover enhanced her beauty even more and her personality was endearing.”
