The British television personality Piers Morgan is calling on Queen Elizabeth to remove the titles of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry after their latest stunt.

Months after stepping down as senior royals back in March, Meghan and Harry revealed their goal to “build a better world” as they effectively launched the website of their non-profit organization Archewell. Describing himself as “my mother’s son,” Harry released a statement with Meghan inviting people to join their campaign to make a difference “one act of compassion at a time.”

Morgan, however, was not having any of it.

“You really don’t like them Piers, do you?” one Twitter user asked.

“No. I think they’re a pair of vapid little wastrels exploiting their royal titles for vast commercial gain whilst doing none of the duty that being a member of the Royal Family entails,” Morgan replied. “It’s shameless, shameful & the Queen should stop them doing it by removing the titles.”

The U.K. Express reported that Morgan later doubled down by blasting Meghan and Harry for failing to mention their fathers in their message.

“Sadly, Ginge & Cringe’s ‘compassion’ and ‘humanity’ doesn’t extend to either of their fathers, both of whom have been airbrushed out of this nauseating bilge,” he said.

Other Twitter users agreed with Morgan.

“Just wow! Talk about Compassion: The Prince’s Trust was founded in 1976 by The Prince of Wales to help vulnerable young people get their lives on track,” one person wrote. “It‘s the UK’s leading youth charity, having helped over 950,000 young people turn their lives around. How could he?”

“They aren’t royals anymore. Nobody cares,” another added, with a third writing, “Both have alienated their own families but still have the audacity to preach to the little people about ‘kindness.'”

This came after Meghan and Harry released their joint statement called a “letter for 2021.”

“I am my mother’s son. And I am our son’s mother. Together we bring you Archewell,” they said. “We believe in the best of humanity. Because we have seen the best of humanity. We have experienced compassion and kindness, From our mothers and strangers alike. In the face of fear, struggle and pain, it can be easy to lose sight of this. Together, we can choose courage, healing, and connection.

“Together, we can choose to put compassion in action,” they added. “We invite you to join us. As we work to build a better world. One act of compassion at a time.”
