Donna is a 68 year-old woman who has been married to a man who is 24 years younger than her for the past eleven years, and they are very happy together.

“For eleven years now, my husband and I have been celebrating a holiday that he created for me called […] Reasons I Love You,” Donna explained. “This came about in 2009 when […] I had a lot of unrelated health issues one thing after another, and I just kept saying ‘I just wanna be able to look back in 2009 and say that was the year I was sick.'”

While her relationship is a happy one, Donna still felt like she needed to make a change in her life when it came to her looks. She wanted to look as young on the outside as she feels on the inside.

“I’m 68; I don’t feel my age,” she said. “I just feel young.”

That’s why Donna travelled to the Minneapolis, Minnesota salon of Christopher Hopkins, who is better known as “The Makeover Guy.” Christopher specializes in giving women over the age of 45 a new lease on life with life changing makeovers.

”The whole mission is to uplift behavior through beauty,” Christopher said in the trailer video for his YouTube channel. “How you present yourself: how you speak, how you walk, how you talk, how you present yourself to the world.”

As soon as Christopher saw Donna, he knew exactly what to do with her.

“Donna is a big fan. She even brought my favorite cologne and a lovely charcuterie board and salted chocolates as a host gift. That’s how you know someone has been following along! ” Christopher wrote about her.

Sure enough, Donna looked ten years younger once Christopher was done with her!

“With thin/fine hair that has a natural wave, but falls flat, I showed Donna how to use pin curls to give body to her hair,” Christopher explained. “Kayla brought out her deep-set eyes with light and made her lips fuller.”

Donna’s husband, who is a big fan of blondes, liked her makeover so much that he was actually afraid to touch her, as he saw her as a work of art!
