A source has come forward this week to reveal all about the fallout between Prince William and Prince Harry, and it may have been even worse than anyone thought.

“William and Harry’s fallout was very real, very ugly and incredibly intense,” the insider told US Weekly. “They’d reached an impasse, there was so much mud under the bridge and a lot of people felt their feud was beyond repair.”

The world first got wind of the feud in 2019, when Harry admitted that he and his older brother were on “different paths.” Things only escalated in January of 2020, when Harry and his wife Meghan Markle stepped down as senior royals and moved across the world to California.

“It’s certainly been a roller-coaster for everyone involved, especially the brothers, who are vowing not to let things get this out of hand in the future and have learned a lot from this difficult experience,” the insider said, adding that there has been “a lot of rejoicing” from family, including Queen Elizabeth, as the two brothers have started to reconcile.

The source went on to say that William and Harry “are looking forward to spending time together in person the moment it’s safe to travel,” saying that they will probably reunite in the United Kingdom.

“But at some point in 2021, the Cambridges will travel to Santa Barbara and see the Sussexes on their new home turf,” he said.

Another source said that Harry and Meghan are loving life in California as they renovate their home in Montecito.

“2020 was a huge game-changer for Harry and Meghan and it came with its ups and downs — the stress of announcing their departure from the royal family, moving three times, dealing with the pandemic, making huge business decisions, setting up Archewell, coming to terms with the miscarriage,” the source said. “It’s brought them closer together and made them a stronger couple.”

A third insider said that Harry has no regrets about stepping away from royal life.

“Harry doesn’t have any regrets about leaving the royal family whatsoever and is really happy in Montecito,” the insider said. “He and Meghan are enjoying their new life in California — being a normal family and having the freedom to make their own decisions without anyone watching over them.”
