Pat is a woman from McGregor, Minnesota who was “in her 70th year” when she decided it was time to make a physical change. That’s why she ended up traveling to the Minneapolis salon of Christopher Hopkins, who is better known as “The Makeover Guy!”

Christopher is a social media star who specializes in giving women over the age of 45 a new lease on life with life changing makeovers.

”The whole mission is to uplift behavior through beauty,” Christopher said in the trailer video for his YouTube channel. “How you present yourself: how you speak, how you walk, how you talk, how you present yourself to the world.”

Like many of us, Pat missed how she looked when she was younger.

“When I was in high school, umm…I turned heads!” Pat said before her makeover.

Now 70 years of age, Pat wanted to be able to turn heads again, just like she did as a teenager.

“My grandmother was a really beautiful woman,” she explained. “I remember thinking ‘My gosh she can walk into a room and have people take notice.’ And I’m thinking at 70 that would be a kind of fun.”

“I’d like to come out of here not having people guess if I’m a man or woman,” Pat added.

As soon as Christopher saw Pat, he knew just what to do with her!

“Pat came from northern Minnesota with in need of a boost. I think you will agree, she got what she needed,” he wrote in the caption of the video.

When Pat saw the new look that Christopher had given her, she could not believe her eyes!

“I’m thinking I’m going to start brushing my teeth every day,” Pat said before she and everyone else in the room burst out laughing.

Christopher ended up giving Pat a platinum look and cut a ton of weight out of her hair, leaving the bottom of it light and way. He cut her hair at an angle above her shoulders, making it shorter in the back, where there are also some layers for depth and volume. On top of that, he did Pat’s makeup in a way that made her sparkle, and she loved everything that he had done for her.

“The only thing I wanted was to walk out of here and not have people wonder if I was male or female,” Pat said after her makeover. “I still got the female part. I know how it feels. I’ve had it before, it’s nice to have it back.”
