A royal author is speaking out this week to claim that Prince William was furious when his brother Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle “deliberately misled” the public regarding the birth of their son Archie.

The Express reported that Archie was born at 5:26am in 2019, but Buckingham Palace did not announce anything until 2pm that day, according to author Robert Lacey. He added that when the palace finally did release a statement, it was implied that Meghan had just gone into labor, when in reality she was already home with her baby.

“Harry and Meghan were resolute that their newborn baby’s first sight of the world should not be the same insane and lethal camera-flashing that had attended — had actually brought about — the death of Diana,” Lacey said.

He went on to say that William was furious about this, as he felt that Harry and Meghan had “deliberately misled” the public.

This comes after Daily Mail reported that Ingrid Seward, who is the editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine, lamented the fact that she now believes that the brothers may never heal their relationship after Harry and his wife Meghan stepped down as senior royals and left the United Kingdom to move to California earlier this year.

“I rather doubt that they will ever get back to how they used to be. I really don’t think so. I think that’s probably a broken relationship,” Seward said. “I think perhaps if something happened to Catherine or Meghan, the boys would be together again. But as long as their ladies are there and their families are there…”

“If there was an awful tragedy it would bring them together, but otherwise I don’t think that relationship will be mended,” she added. “But that is a really personal point of view and I might not be right.”

Lacey has said that there is “no chance” of Harry and Meghan ever returning to the United Kingdom full time, or even of them “leaving their American base.”

Lacey concluded by warning that William and Harry have “five months to heal their rift” or their relationship will never recover.
