A young woman working at a jewelry store was able to expose a cheating husband in an ingenious way when he came in to buy a gift for both his wife and his girlfriend.

Yahoo News reported that Zoe Roe posted a video to TikTok explaining how she was able to let his wife and girlfriend know what the cheating man was doing.

“So I work at a jewelry store and today a man came in looking for a gift for his wife for their ten-year anniversary,” Roe said. “He ended up picking out a piece that said ‘my beautiful wife’ and I said, ‘Anything else for you today?’ and he said, ‘No that’s it for her, but I do wanna make another purchase using a separate credit card and could you possibly create a different account for me?’”

That’s when the young clerk started getting suspicious.

“I said, ‘Sure, what are you looking for?’ and he said, ‘Do you have anything that says ‘girlfriend?’ and I said, ‘…yes,'” Roe continued.

She proceeded to help the man pick out a gift for his girlfriend, whom he was celebrating his one-year anniversary with. Once she had rung him up, Roe boxed up the gifts and put them in their respective bags.

“He had me mark a ‘K’ for Kristin on the bottom of his wife’s bag and an ‘L’ for Laura on the bottom of his girlfriend’s bag,” she explained.

However, there was just one problem: Roe “accidentally” mixed the bags up.

“I just remembered that his wife’s name is Laura and his girlfriend’s name is Kristin,” Roe said with a mischievous smile. “I must have mixed up the bags. Oops.”

“THAT’S GIRL CODE! Imagine people knew you were being cheated on and no one told you?” one social media user commented, with another adding, “You’re a gift to humanity.”

“Not all heroes wear capes,” a third commented about the video. “Some just wear winged eyeliner.”
