Hollywood star Jane Fonda got very honest about her sex life on Friday, when the 82 year-old actress appeared on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” to promote her new book, “What Can I Do? My Path from Climate Despair to Action.”

The comedian Tiffany Haddish, who was guest hosting the talk show, kicked off the interview by commenting on how great Fonda looks in her latest magazine spread.

“I need to know, because you look so good, are you still having sex? Are you having, like, crazy sex?” Haddish asked.

Fonda emphatically shook her head and gave a thumbs down as she said, “No, no, zero.”

“I don’t have time. I’m old and I’ve had so much of it. I don’t need it right now because I’m too busy!” she added.

“My favorite ex-husband Ted Turner, he always said, ‘If you wait too long it grows over.’ I think he’s right,” Fonda continued. “I couldn’t have sex again even if I wanted to.”

Entertainment Tonight reported that Fonda was married to Turner from 1991 until they divorced in 2001. Prior to that, she was married to Tom Hayden from 1973 to 1990, and Roger Vadim from 1965 to 1973.

During this interview, Haddish also brought up Fonda expressing regret for not sleeping with Marvin Gaye while married to Hayden, something she had admitted to last month to the New York Times.

“You a good woman,” Haddish said after Fonda told her that she could not have done that to her husband at the time. “You a good woman and I probably would not have been so good. But I aspire to be like you, so I’m learning how to control myself.”

Fonda replied by saying that Haddish should not “learn to control” herself when she’s with her boyfriend, the rapper Common, to which the comedian responded, “Oh, no. I’m outta control! I’m outta control with him.”

“If another man showed up,” Haddish continued, putting her hand up as she added, “I’ve got a man.”

This comes one month after Fonda told The Guardian that while she has spent much of her life in relationships, she has no intention of embarking on another one.

“[That part of my life] is gone. I can tell. It’s just over – I’ve closed up shop,” the Academy Award-winner said. “I’m extremely happy on my own.”
