It has just been revealed that the Hollywood star Brad Pitt and his 27 year-old girlfriend Nicole Poturalski, who is married to a 68 year-old restauranteur in an open marriage, have broken up.

A source told Page Six that Pitt and Poturalski, who were first spotted together in August of 2019, are now “totally over.”

“It was never all that serious as it was cracked up to be,” the insider said, adding that the breakup happened, “a while back.”

Pitt, 56, reportedly met Poturalski at the Berlin, Germany restaurant of her husband, 68 year-old Roland Mary, with whom she has a 7 year-old son. Pitt and Mary are reportedly friends, and the restauranteur even is said to have approved of the relationship.

“Brad Pitt first met Nicole [Poturalski] in August last year at Borchardt which is her husband Roland’s restaurant,” a friend of Poturalski’s previously said. “Brad Pitt has been coming to Borchardt for years. He knows Roland [Mary] and Nicole was at the restaurant when he came to celebrate his new film.”

“Roland is a very philosophical guy,” added a friend of the restaurant owner. “He has been married several times and has five children. He is not interested in negativity or jealousy. They are still married but you could describe their relationship as an ‘open marriage.'”

Pitt and Poturalski made headlines at the end of August, when he brought her to the spot where he married his ex Angelina Jolie on what would have been their sixth wedding anniversary.

“Taking Nicole to Miraval on their former wedding anniversary, Brad knows exactly what he is doing and the reaction it’s going to get from Angelina,” a source told US Weekly at the time. “He just doesn’t care if Angelina is going to lash out. He expects she will.”

Pitt is in the midst of a four years-long custody battle with Jolie over their six children: Maddox, 19, Pax, 16, Zahara, 15, Shiloh, 14, and 12-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne. Pitt wants 50/50 share of their children, but Jolie is fighting him every step of the way.

Perhaps distance was a factor in Pitt and Poturalski’s breakup, as she lives in Germany while he lives across the world in Los Angeles, California.
